2007 Butch Cassidy 10K Run/5K Walk

General Information:
The 10K Run begins at 10 a.m. just south of the Driftwood Lodge at 1515 Zion Park Blvd. in Springdale, Utah. You cross the finish line in the quiet ghost town of Grafton. The 5K Walk (Ages 11 and over) and 5K Fun Run/Walk (Ages 10 and under) begins at 9:45 a.m. just past the Rockville bridge on Bridge Road and also finishes in Grafton.
Walkers should ride the free shuttle from the Driftwood parking area to the 5K starting line. Meet at the Driftwood Lodge no later than 9 a.m.
Due to limited space there is NO PARKING at the Grafton finish line. Spectators MUST park at the Driftwood Lodge or the LDS Church and ride the shuttle to and from Grafton. The last shuttle leaves the Driftwood at 9:30 a.m.
Jackets left in drop boxes at the registration area or at starting lines will be gathered and brought to the finish line, but we cannot guarantee “your stuff” will get there.
Registration Information and Fees:
Pre-registration fee is $20 if entry is received before 10/26/07. Late registration (10/27 to 11/2) is $30. Day of race registration is $40. Children 10 and under are $10. NO registrations will be taken after 8:30 a.m. on race day.
ONLY pre-registered racers will be guaranteed a race t-shirt, bandana, and goody bag. If your registration is received before 10/26, you can pick up your goody bag, etc. at the Driftwood Lodge lobby on Friday November 2nd between noon and 4 p.m. and on race day after 7:30 a.m. until the race. (No refunds after 10/26/07)

Awards:
The awards will be presented in Grafton following the race; there is a free raffle and prizes, along with refreshments. Winners bring $5 if you would like your medal engraved. Run results are available after the event at runnercard.com.
Other information:
A physical examination is not required to compete in the Butch Cassidy Race. However, all competitors participate at their own risk. If in doubt as to your physical condition for the run, it is strongly recommended that you seek the advice of a competent medical care provider and abide by his/her advice.
All persons under the age of 18 must have the written consent of their parent or legal guardian to compete in the Butch Cassidy race.
Proceeds from this fun event benefit Youth Activities in Zion (YAZ) and the Grafton Heritage Partnership Project (GHPP) and Zion Canyon Visitors Bureau.
