Please join the Southwestern Chapter of UNPS Monday, February 1, 2010 7pm at the Canyon Community Center (126 Lion Blvd.) in Springdale for "Flora of Southwestern Utah and Northern Arizona".

Larry C. Higgins, PhD considers himself a naturalist.  He Co-authored the Utah Flora, wrote The Flora of the Beverdam Mountains and many other plant publications.  He taught at Brigham Young University, West Texas State University, and is currently teaching Biology and is Museum Herbarium Curator at Dixie State College.

We are looking forward to seeing many beautiful photos of Southern Utah's native wildflowers on the Center's large screen.  Dr. Higgins will share lots of information about his experiences as well as answer questions that may arise.
