U.S. National Finger-style Guitar Champion Chris Proctor has made his reputation in the world of contemporary guitar for more than 25 years.  As an original composer, technical innovator, teacher and tireless performer of truly unique style and technique, he has performed in the United States, Europe, Canada and Mexico.  Proctor bridges the gap between 60's ground-breaking soloist Leo Kottke and the Windham Hill guitarists of the 80's and 90's, playing a blend of classical, blues, jazz, folk, Celtic and pop.  He is a pioneer in the solo genre who has paved the way for other artists in making solo steel-string guitar a respected and highly popular form of contemporary music.
