Full-time Positions:

Police Officer – Position reports to the Police Chief.  Position is a full-time, permanent position.  Duties include performing a variety of working level technical law enforcement duties related to enforcing the laws, maintaining the peace and protecting the citizens of Springdale/Zion Canyon.  Competitive salary.

Parks/Public Works Maintenance Worker – Reports to the Parks Superintendent.  Duties will include the regular maintenance to park and cemetery facilities. Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of park and cemetery watering systems. Plants and maintains trees, shrubs, and flowers. Maintains and repairs restrooms within the parks. Maintains facilities within the parks and handles the preparation for special events within the parks.  This position requires the ability to operate equipment such as lawnmowers, tractors, loaders, and backhoes. This position requires general assistance on various projects as needed.

 Position also assists the Public Works Department in the maintenance of the Town irrigation, water and wastewater systems and meter reading as required.

 Position also assists the Police Department with crossing guard duties at the elementary school as required. 

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid drivers license.
