Clean Up Dumpsters in Springdale
Once a quarter (usually in March, June, September and December) the Washington County Solid Waste District provides large roll-off dumpsters for Springdale residents to use in disposing of yard debris and other unused items that would normally go to the landfill, but do not necessarly fit into your residential garbage can.
This service is provided as a courtesy to the Town as an option to hauling items to the landfill for disposal. We encourage all Town residents to take advantage of this service. However, as it is a courtesy service, it could be eliminated if the dumpsters are abused.
Please do not put the following into the dumpsters:
- Oil
- Batteries
- Paint
- Tires
- Dirt
- Concrete
- Asphalt
- Construction or building materials
- Hazardous substances
When in town, the dumpsters are located on Lion Blvd across from the Town Hall. Please watch the community calendar for the exact dates when the dumpsters are available.
