Emergency Preparedness

It is recommended that each household prepare a 72-hour emergency kit in the event of an emergency or disaster.  Recommendations for a kit are:

• Water
• Food
• First Aid Supplies
• Clothing, bedding and sanitation suppies
• Special Items

It is recommended you keep these items in an easy to carry container, such as a large covered trash container, a camping backpack or a duffle bag.
