BUDGET HEARINGS
Instead of
the public budget hearing scheduled for
June 24, 2009, Springdale Town Council
will hold a public budget hearing for
the following purpose on June 30, 2004
at 5:00 PM at the Springdale Town Hall,
118 Lion Boulevard.
Open and amend the budget for FY 2008-09

The Springdale Town Planning Commission
will hold a public hearing to consider
the following items on Tuesday, June 16,
2009 at 5:30PM. The Springdale Town
Council will hold a public hearing to
consider the items on Wednesday, July 8,
2009 at 5:00 PM. Both hearings will be
held in the Springdale Town Hall, 118
Lion Boulevard in Springdale.
1. Ordinance Amendment: Adding Chapter
10-15C: Outdoor Lighting to the Town
Code. This ordinance amendment will
create standards for the placement of
outdoor lighting in all zones of the
Town.
2. Conditional Use Permit: Transient
Lodging Facility – Barbara and Coriolan
Frum, 90 Juniper Lane.

BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT HEARING
The
Springdale Town Board of Adjustment
(acting as Appeal Authority) will hold a
public hearing to consider the following
variance requests on Wednesday, July 1
at 5:00 PM. The hearing will be held at
the Springdale Town Hall, 118 Lion
Boulevard, Springdale, UT.
The Mesa, a Utah non-profit, represented
by Mark Schraut, requests variances from
the following code sections:
10-15B-7(A) – to allow a cut slope in
excess of 10 feet in height.
10-15B-9(A) – to allow disturbance on
natural slopes in excess of 30% grade.
10-25-16 – to allow a roadway
intersection with less than 120’ offset
in street alignment.
The variances are requested to allow the
improvement of the existing road to the
Mesa project for access and to install
utilities.
