Redhawk Affordable Housing in Springdale
A Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Redhawk affordable housing project was held on Thursday, August 2 at 5:30 PM. The groundbreaking will started with a welcome, informational meeting, and project overview at the Canyon Community Center and proceeded to the Redhawk site for the official groundbreaking.
Information on the selection process and lottery for the affordable units was presented at the groundbreaking ceremony. The selection lottery will take place on Wednesday, November 7.
The deadline for applications for the affordable and moderate priced single family homes in the Redhawk Subdivision in Springdale is September 13, 2007. These applications are complex. Don’t wait till the last minute!
If you are interested in entering the lottery for one of the seven affordable / moderate homes you must have your application complete and submitted to Color Country Community Housing no later than 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 13, 2007. The four moderate income homes will be priced at $240,000. The three affordable homes will be priced at $150,000.
