Parks and Recreation

The Town of Springdale has two public parks for the use and enjoyment of Town residents, guests and visitors.  The two parks are the Town Park on Lion Boulevard and the George Barker River Park on Zion Park Boulevard.

Park standards have been developed to ensure that parks users do not negatively impact the general public's access to or enjoyment of park facilities.  Please click on the Park Policies link to left to access the park use and event policy.

Town Park

The Town Park is located at about 126 Lion Boulevard and is the park area that surrounds the Canyon Community Center and includes the gazebo and accompanying picnic area, the tennis courts, the volleyball courts, the ball field and other assocated areas.  The park faciliteis include picnic areas, restrooms, barbeques and a playground area with play equipment.  The ball field and gazebo area may be rented for private,non-commerical events according to the policies.  Please review the policies and park rental form for specific details.

Several events are held annually at the Town Park.  Events such as the Zion Canyon Music Festival, the Town's 4th of July celebration, and the Zion Flute and Drum Festival are a few of the annual events that use this space.

Use of the Parks

Please help keep our parks neat, clean and in good repair.  Please be courteous to other users.  The Town parks are a great amenity to the Town and can be enjoyed best when everyone thinks about the next user and leaves the park in good condition.  If you have any questions about the use of the parks, please review the park use policies or contact the Town Hall at 435-772-3434.
