Auction for Education
The Rotary Club of Zion Canyon is pleased to sponsor the 2019 Art Auction for Education on Saturday on October 5, 2019.
The auction provides funding for art, music and education programs for Zion Canyon elementary students, scholarships for graduating seniors from the Zion Canyon area, and scholarships for students to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA).
There will be both a live auction and a silent auction. Items include amazing adventure packages, golf packages, unique art, special gifts and more. Art and recreation items are donated by local artists, galleries and businesses.
The slideshows below show a selection of auction items, but not all items have been included. Some surprises await at the auction, so please come to see what is available. Where possible, items shown below are identified as to which auction they will be in, as well as the approximate starting bid.
The auction will be held on the Hampton Inn front lawn. Free parking is available at the Hampton Inn and Springhill Suites parking lots. Everyone is welcome to attend and support art and music education programs in Zion Canyon.
The silent auction will begin at 3:00 p.m. along with a live music performance. This a great time to enjoy music, view and browse silent and live auction items, and socialize with others from the community. Prior to the live auction beginning there will be a musical performance by the elementary school kids.
The live auction will be at 4:00 p.m. A big thanks to Kathy LaFave who will be our auctioneer again this year.
During the event the Springdale PTO will be hosting a fundraiser including homemade goodies, soups, and beverages, as well as a quilt made by the school's secretary: a collage of artwork created by Springdale elementary students. The fundraiser helps raise money for the PTO and the work they do with the school. Please support their efforts.
Please note that starting bids shown are estimates and may be subject to change, sometimes at the discretion of the auctioneer.
