Springdale Business Licenses are valid from July 1 through June 30 of each year. License fees are pro-rated by month, if your business opens after August 1st. License fees are listed on the application.
A business in your home requires a home occupation permit as well as a business license. There are two classes of home occupation. Class 1 allows the public to come to the home to receive goods or services. Class 2 businesses are conducted by phone, mail or fax and no goods or services are supplied to walk-in customers or by appointment at the home. The home occupation permit process requires notification of your neighbors and a review by the Director or Community Development, Tom Dansie. Contact him at 435-772-3434 or via email.
Beer licenses are applied for on the same form as business licenses but additional personal information is required for owners, officers and managers. In conjunction with beer licensing from the Town, you must apply for state licensing with the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
